azmesa is the acronym for
the Arizona Medical Equipment Suppliers Association. AZMESA is the only
organization in Arizona solely dedicated to representing all aspects of the
home medical equipment industry.

distributors both here in Arizona and across the country.

AZMESA’s mission is to provide information and education and to promote

AZMESA provides a network for information sharing, political advocacy
and industry education. Our unity as an association gives us a powerful voice
in State and Federal Legislative issues. These issues include maintaining fair
and consistent reimbursement and coverage criteria.

affiliations with other organizations?
By being an AZMESA member, you have a voice in the Medicare
Jurisdiction D DMERC Advisory Committee, National Supplier Clearinghouse
Advisory Committee (NSCAC) and SADMERC. We also have an effective link to the
Midwest Association for Medical Equipment Services (MAMES) through our
Executive Director, Rose Schafhauser. AZMESA is also a member of the American
Association for Homecare (AAHomecare), which adds greatly to the information
that is available to our members.

AZMESA offers special committees to work on specific areas including:

the other key functions of azmesa?
AZMESA provides an Annual Conference where you have the opportunity to
meet representatives from all member organizations and both formally and
informally discuss issues affecting our industry. This Conference is our
largest educational offering.
AZMESA also provides email communications on local and national issues
affecting the industry and our members.
AZMESA now provides a valuable website to provide information and
important links within the industry, making finding and getting the information
you need easier.
how are azmesa
dues calculated and paid?
AZMESA offers Regular Membership to providers on a tiered basis based
on total number of employees. Dues for a Regular Member range from $350.00 to
$500.00, with a $75.00 Extra Location dues also available.
AZMESA also offers Associate Membership to any company involved in the
manufacture or distribution of HME equipment or industry consulting or related
equipment services. Associate Member dues are $250.00.
AZMESA also offers a variety of Associate Member sponsorship
opportunities to companies who wish to maintain a higher profile within the

Where can I join?
The AZMESA application is available on this website for your use under
the “JOIN NOW” button on our home page. Please complete the application and
send it to us with your dues payment and we will activate your membership
benefits immediately.
